Read the chart before you read the news
Training in classical chart pattern recognition for private investors who want to recognise structure on price charts — head and shoulders, triangles, flags, and the quieter setups between them.
Classical Pattern Recognition Workshop
A six-session studio course held in Bindera. You work through printed chart packs, mark swing highs and lows by hand, and practise naming formations before volume and news colour the story.
Designed for adults who already follow equities or FX and want a disciplined vocabulary for what the price has already drawn.
Workshop detailsOther ways to study with us
Alongside the workshop, we offer quieter one-to-one mentoring and evening groups for those who prefer a slower pace.
Evening Pattern Circle
A recurring small-group evening for practising classical pattern drills on fresh unmarked charts.
Investment club briefing
A half-day classical pattern briefing tailored for investment clubs and member groups who want a shared chart vocabulary.
One-to-one chart mentoring
Private sessions focused on the patterns appearing on your own watchlist charts, with slow markup and honest invalidation talk.
“I arrived able to spot a double top after the fact. After the Bindera sessions I could mark the neckline while the pattern was still forming — and I still leave the loud trade ideas alone until the break confirms.”
Paper first, screens second
We begin with annotated historical charts from Australian and global markets. Pattern names stick when your pencil has already traced the shoulders and the throwback.
Only then do we move to live charts — still with the same checklist: trend context, measured move, volume behaviour at the break, and what invalidates the idea.
